General Information

  • The Tutoring Center is here for you and committed to your academic success. We know that achieving your academic goals can be challenging, so let us help you!
  • Our tutors are excited to assist you with your coursework, answer questions about homework and test preparation. We encourage you to make an appointment or drop in for a session.
  • We provide FREE on campus tutoring and virtual tutoring with CCC tutors.
  •  Virtual tutoring via Brainfuse is also available. All students receive 5 hours of Brainfuse tutoring per semester. 
  • Please note that all tutoring is group tutoring - one on one sessions are not guaranteed.

Accessing Tutoring Services

Accessing Tutoring Services

  1. Log in to Canvas.
  2. Select one of your courses in Canvas.
  3. On the left side of the screen, click "Brainfuse Online Tutoring" in the course menu then launch Brainfuse.
  4. To make an appointment, select either TutorMatch or Live Tutoring. Please note: Appointments are not required but are recommended.
    1. To make an appointment on campus or online with a CCC tutor, select "TutorMatch".
    2. To schedule an online appointment with an external Brainfuse tutor, select "Live Tutoring". The Live Tutoring option is limited to 5 hours per student per semester.

  • Blackwood Campus, Wolverton Library, Learning Commons, 2nd floor
  • Camden Campus, College Hall, Student Learning Center, Room 508
  • Virtual tutoring available

Expectations

Student Expectations

  • All students must check-in electronically through the Tutoring Services link on Canvas for each session.
  • At the end of the session students must check-out following the same process.
  • Tutoring is small group tutoring. One on one sessions cannot be guaranteed.
  • Students are expected to bring class materials to their sessions (e.g. textbook, notes, drafts etc.) 
  • Beverages with lids are permitted at the Camden location. Food is prohibited.
