Session Details

  • Classes are held in the Wolverton Library Room 012
  • Course specific LibGuide (or Library Guide) will be developed to assist students through the research process
  • Explanation and importance of the Information Search Process
  • Appropriate use of databases, websites, books, eBooks, journals, magazines and more
  • Citation Information on the style appropriate for your class

How do I register my class?

  • Check the Instruction Calendar for available dates and times
  • Complete the Blackwood Library Instruction Request Form
  • Email Lori Lenox at or include in the appropriate comment boxes on the request form the following information so the instruction can be tailored to your class
    • Description of Assignment or Syllabus
    • Where the students are in the research process
      • Assignment has not been introduced
      • Assignment has been introduced but student have not chosen topic yet
      • Students have topics but have not started research yet
      • Student have started their research
    • What citation style your students are required to use
    • If you are assigning the students their topic, please provide us with a list of approved topics
    • Email Lori Lenox at to set up a time if you would like to discuss this session in person or over the phone
