Editing Citations and Generating Your Citations List

Once you have created your citations, you may need to edit your list.

 

EDIT – Select Edit if you notice an error or need to make a change to your citation.

COPY – Select Copy if you have more than one list (e.g., you may be working on a Psychology paper and an Education paper) and you would like the citation to appear in both lists.

 

DELETE – Select Delete if you no longer need the citation in your list.

 


Generating Your Citations List

 

 

PRINT - Use this feature to preview your source list or to open this list in your word processor and print it with the correct margins and spacing. Click Export and Print to print a final draft or save your file in Microsoft Word. Formatting options are available.

SAVE AS WORD DOC - By opening your bibliography in Microsoft Word, rather than copying or printing it from the NoodleBib screen, your list of citations will be perfectly formatted.

SHARE - Your professors will let you know if they would like you to share your list with them online. Sharing your list enables your professor to monitor your progress and make comments.

E-MAIL - Your citation list will be sent to the e-mail address that you provide as an RTF document that can be opened in Microsoft Word.

ANALYSIS - The analysis feature provides a summary of the list entries in several different ways: by medium, by citation type, or by currency or date.

NOTECARDS - The notecards feature can help you extract, organize, and synthesize information you find during the research process. Click on the New link under Notecards, and complete the appropriate selections.

 

Do you need to start another research paper? Just start another source list and begin the NoodleBib process all over again!
