English 121 Intro to Literature / Professor Goughary  Tags: assignments literature  

Two short papers are required: one on fiction, one on poetry, and/or one on drama.

Papers must be between 2-3 pages, typed, double-spaced and documented according to MLA Style.

Topics should address very specific characteristics or implications of the selected work, not just give a plot summary (see Professor Goughary for specific ideas). Development of the topic should go beyond what was discussed in class.

Late papers will not be accepted.

Each paper is worth 25 percent of the final grade.
