Information About Library Instruction Sessions on the Blackwood Campus

About the Library Instruction Sessions

  • Instruction sessions take place in the Library Classroom (Room 012 on the Lower Level of the Library.)
  • We will work with you and create a plan based on your assignment.
  • A Library Guide can be created to complement the instruction session (e.g., Biology 111, Psychology 101).
  • Allow for time to develop an instructional package which will include a library web guide.
  • We look forward to working with your students!

Use the Library Instruction form shown here to request a library instruction session for your students on the Blackwood Campus.

Please try to schedule instruction sessions 1 week in advance.  This gives us adequate time to prepare for your individual session.

Before making a request, please consult the Blackwood instruction calendar for availability.

Your Library Instruction Request will be confirmed by email. You may also consult the Blackwood Instruction Calendar for confirmation.

Faculty are asked to inform their students that they will need a library card to borrow materials and access library databases off-campus. Library cards are issued both in-person and online.
